We're looking for a highly motivated Infrastructure and Database Administrator who enjoys identifying solutions, improving processes, and contributing to the success of the organization through technology. In this role, you'll support a broad technology environment while working with infrastructure, databases, networking, cloud technologies, and automation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration & Support: Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient access to business-critical data.
  • Network Infrastructure Administration: Administer and optimize the organization's network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP. Ensure network reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Cloud & Identity Platform Administration: Manage cloud infrastructure, identity platforms, and access controls that protect organizational assets and enable secure, reliable connectivity.
  • Automation & Systems Integration: Develop and maintain scripts and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, and integrate data systems across the environment.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security controls across database, network, and cloud environments. Support audit activities, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, including backups, security, performance monitoring, and basic query optimization
  • Support database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data availability and business continuity
  • Monitor database health, capacity, and performance; proactively resolve bottlenecks and incidents
  • Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Manage network monitoring, traffic analysis, and capacity planning to ensure reliability and performance
  • Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, and cloud-connected environments
  • Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms
  • Maintain Microsoft Azure resources, including virtual networks, cloud infrastructure components, and hybrid connectivity
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including user provisioning, access management, MFA, and Conditional Access policies
  • Perform system monitoring, patching, backups, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and integrations using PowerShell, SQL, Python, or related technologies
  • Support data integrations and automated workflows between enterprise systems and applications
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, network incidents, and infrastructure issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, database schemas, procedures, and operational runbooks
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions that improve infrastructure reliability, security, and performance
  • Partner with technology vendors on issue resolution, upgrades, and service improvements
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response
  • Stay current on database technologies, networking standards, and security best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Required: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Required: 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, databases, and business systems
  • Required: Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Required: Proficiency with scripting, automation, and troubleshooting technologies, including PowerShell, SQL, Python, or similar tools
  • Required: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes
  • Required: Experience administering enterprise network infrastructure - routing, switching, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, VPN
  • Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, or related certifications
  • Preferred: Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or similar)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or other analytics/reporting platforms
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server - administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and T-SQL development
